On August 30, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving 140 civil servants, public employees and workers eligible for early retirement and termination of employment policies under Decree 178, Decree 67 of the Government.
Of which, 87 people enjoy early retirement policies and regimes; 53 people enjoy severance pay policies and regimes in departments under the departments.
The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee to provide funding to agencies and units to pay policies and regimes for civil servants, public employees and workers according to regulations.
Relevant agencies, units and individuals are responsible for the accuracy of the subjects and the content of the resignation proposal according to Decrees 178 and 67.
Based on the list of people eligible for early retirement and termination policies, the agency or unit shall issue a decision on early retirement and termination of employment according to its management authority.
Along with that, agencies and units will pay subsidies to civil servants and employees after receiving documents from the Provincial People's Committee on funding.
According to statistics, in 2025, Dak Lak province plans 3,278 subjects to implement policies according to Decrees 178 and 67, with a total funding need of more than VND 3,874 billion.
Of which, 2,608 people have decided to retire, needing more than VND 2,869 billion to pay.
Currently, 1,961 people have been approved with a budget of VND1,902 billion. It is expected that 670 new subjects will arise, requiring about VND1,005 billion to be paid.
To date, Dak Lak has more than 1,526 billion VND, with a shortage of 2,348 billion VND. Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee has submitted a proposal to the Ministry of Finance to support the remaining funding.
