According to the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Lak province, from July 1 to September 5, administrative agencies in the area received and processed nearly 25.5 million records, of which online records accounted for nearly 75%.
The provincial public service portal publicly disseminated more than 2,100 administrative procedures, of which 1,867 procedures were integrated online, making it easy for people and businesses to look up and implement.
The work of digitizing records and connecting databases is being promoted. Many procedures have been simplified, shortening processing time and reducing travel costs.
Models such as the "community digital technology team" and volunteer staff at service reception points have increased the rate of people accessing online public services.
Dak Lak aims to provide 100% of eligible public services online by the end of 2025, with the rate of online records reaching at least 70%.
However, the rate of full online records is still low (only reaching more than 36%).
Some localities, especially at the commune level, have limited implementation; the digital skills of cadres are not uniform and data sharing is still difficult.
Mr. Bui Thanh Toan - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Lak province - said that the Provincial People's Committee has a plan to improve the quality of online public services.
This plan includes reviewing and simplifying the process to support people, especially in remote areas, to achieve the set plan.
