By the afternoon of November 13, the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) had restored power to 1,637,517 customers, accounting for 99.04% of customers affected by storm No. 13 in the Central Highlands provinces.
Currently, only 15,879 customers in the two most affected areas, Gia Lai and Dak Lak, are being urgently handled by power units, striving to complete the restoration today.
On the medium voltage grid, EVNCPC has restored 392/468 incidents, reaching a rate of 83.76%. The entire system has 19,281/19,563 distributed transformer stations restored to power, reaching 98.56%, with only 282 stations (0.49%) continuing to be processed.
In Gia Lai, Gia Lai Power Company has restored 135/208 incidents, restored power to more than 98.7% of customers, and lost power to about 12,355 customers (1.27%) and 243 transformer stations (2.1%).
In Dak Lak, Dak Lak Power Company has restored 110/113 incidents, restored power to 99.5% of customers, only 4,861 customers (0.51%) and 53 transformer stations (0.5%) are being repaired.
Thanks to the mobilization of total forces with over 2,800 officers, engineers, workers, machinery, materials and equipment from member Power Companies, Central Power Service Company and the coordination of local authorities, EVNCPC has quickly restored most of the load after the storm, ensuring stable power supply for production and daily life of the people.
Currently, some low-lying areas, remote areas, flooded areas or customer's filter lines are damaged and cannot be connected to the power safely.
EVNCPC recommends that people proactively check the damaged or at risk of peeling and causing a collision in their home system and immediately contact the 19001909 switchboard of the Central Power Customer Care Center for timely repair and handling by the electricity industry.
EVNCPC also directed units to increase electrical safety propaganda, use sudden product warning software to promptly detect the risk of collisions, and ensure safety for people during the use of electricity after natural disasters and floods.
