On July 8, Khanh Hoa Commune Police (Lao Cai province) issued a decision to sanction administrative violations against Ms. N.T. N (born in 1983, residing in Lang Dung village) for the act of littering domestic waste in the wrong place.
Previously, at about 2:00 PM on July 6th, Khanh Hoa Commune Police received a complaint from people about a quantity of domestic waste being dumped indiscriminately in the Na O area, on the road from Lang Muong village to Tat Dieu village, causing unsightliness and affecting the environment.
Immediately after receiving the information, the police force was present at the scene to inspect, make a record of the incident and organize verification. Through extracting data from the security camera system, functional agencies identified the person who committed the act of dumping garbage as Ms. N.T. N.

At the police station, the woman admitted all the violations.
Based on Point c, Clause 2, Article 25 of Decree No. 45/2022/ND-CP of the Government on sanctioning administrative violations in the field of environmental protection, Khanh Hoa Commune Police fined Ms. N.T. N the amount of 750,000 VND for the act of "Flawing, discharging, throwing away waste, dumping waste in the wrong places in public places".
In addition to administrative penalties, functional agencies also forced violators to collect all the dumped waste and restore the area's status as prescribed.
