On August 21, Hung Yen Provincial Police informed that through grasping the situation on social networks, Dong Bang Commune Police discovered a TikTok account posting images and content related to the act of arbitrarily changing the structure and characteristics of electric motorbikes (modifying vehicles), changing and renovating compared to the manufacturer's original design.
Accordingly, the commune police promptly verified and identified the account holder as N.H (born in 2010, residing in Dong Bang commune).
Immediately after that, the Commune Police invited N.H and her family to bring the above vehicle to the headquarters to work, clarify the origin of the vehicle, the process of use, the change of vehicle structure as well as the purpose of posting images and videos on social networks.
At the meeting, N.H admitted to ordering parts and equipment on social networks, then installing them herself, filming video images of the vehicle, and posting them on TikTok through her personal account.
The commune police analyzed and explained to N.H and her family about the risks of traffic unsafety due to arbitrarily changing the structure and technical characteristics of vehicles. In addition, the police agency propagated the provisions of law related to the act of arbitrarily changing the structure and modification of vehicles, and at the same time reminded about responsibility when using and posting content related to the above acts on cyberspace.
The commune police also requested N.H to stop using the vehicle that has arbitrarily changed the structure; fix, remove, and restore the vehicle to a guaranteed state according to the manufacturer's regulations. At the same time, remove all related images and videos posted on social networks and commit not to continue posting, sharing or promoting content showing signs of law violation, negatively affecting the awareness and behavior of teenagers and request a commitment to comply with legal regulations on traffic safety and order.
