On December 6, the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Port (Border Guard Command, Ho Chi Minh City Command) brought 3 crew members whose barges sank safely to shore and in stable health.
Previously, the captain of Long An 05553 barge informed about the vehicle having an incident in the Vung Tau anchorage area. The barge was captained by Mr. H.T.Q (born in 1979) and 2 crew members, while on a journey carrying 910 m3 of imported sand to Sao Mai port (Vung Tau) to return goods, when the engine died and drifted freely.

Upon receiving the information, the Border Guard Command of Ba Ria - Vung Tau Port used the VT 2018 canoe of Vung Tau Shipping Company, mobilizing forces to quickly move to the location of the damaged barge for rescue and relief.
At about 9:30 a.m. the same day, the force approached the area where the incident occurred. At this time, the barge had sunk, and the 3 people on the barge had just been rescued by a nearby fishing boat. The force received 3 crew members from the fishing boat and provided health care. After that, the crew members were brought to shore and handed over to the vehicle owner.
