According to the agreement, EVN and FPT will closely coordinate in researching, applying and mastering core technologies such as: artificial intelligence (AI), big data (Big Data), Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing (Cloud) and blockchain, to solve specific technical and management problems of the electricity industry, from production, transmission, distribution to customer care and system operation.
The two sides will also cooperate in developing a smart energy management system, allowing monitoring of electricity consumption by region, early detection of abnormalities, reducing power loss and making optimal recommendations for businesses and people, based on strict compliance with regulations on personal data protection and information security.
In the field of telecommunications, network security and system security, EVN and FPT will coordinate to share technical infrastructure to serve disaster prevention and response, incident response; and at the same time deploy multi-layered security solutions for operating technology systems (OT) and SCADA, organize network security exercises, assess risks and improve defense capabilities against increasingly complex threats.
