According to Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, in the face of the complex developments of the global energy market, especially the impact of the conflict situation in the Middle East, world and domestic gasoline and oil prices have increased sharply, which increases transportation and logistics costs, directly affecting the production and business activities of businesses and people's lives.
To stabilize the gasoline and oil market, reduce transportation cost pressure and ensure the supply chain, the Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee requested transportation and logistics enterprises and the Provincial Automobile Transport Association to implement solutions to optimize transport organization, strengthen cargo transport connections to reduce transportation costs.
The Provincial Automobile Transport Association proactively grasps the operating situation of enterprises, summarizes difficulties and promptly proposes to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and removal. At the same time, coordinates with seaport operating enterprises and gasoline and oil business units to organize reasonable transportation; strengthens the application of technology in transport management and operation, in order to reduce fuel and transportation costs.
The Provincial Chairman also requested seaport operating enterprises to coordinate with transport enterprises, petroleum businesses and logistics units in receiving, unloading and transshipping petroleum, ensuring smooth and efficient port operations.
Port, transportation and logistics enterprises in the area need to proactively monitor and promptly reflect difficulties in the process of transporting and distributing gasoline and oil, especially issues related to transportation costs, port service costs, logistics infrastructure, mechanisms, policies and regulations affecting transportation activities.
The Department of Industry and Trade is responsible for coordinating with the Department of Construction and related units to monitor cargo transportation activities, especially gasoline and oil transportation; assess the impact of fuel price fluctuations on transportation costs; promptly propose to the Provincial People's Committee directing and operating solutions to stabilize gasoline and oil prices in the province.
