To recognize, commend and honor the contributions of individuals who have been dedicating their talents and efforts to restoring, maintaining, creating and developing handicrafts, in 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued a Plan on Reviewing and awarding the title of Craftsman of Hai Duong Province in 2024.
The Department of Industry and Trade has taken the lead in guiding the implementation of the plan to the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities in the province; compiled, reviewed and checked the records of individuals proposed for consideration of conferring the title; coordinated with relevant departments and branches to advise on the establishment and organization of a meeting of the Appraisal Council and submitted it to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration of conferring the title of Hai Duong Province's Small-Scale Craftsman in 2024.
On December 24, 2024, the Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee decided to confer the title of Hai Duong Province's Small Industry Artisan in 2024 to 9 individuals in the fields of temple carpentry, embroidery, ceramics, and leather shoes.
