At the conference, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor summarized the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and activities of the Provincial Trade Union in 2024, and deployed directions and tasks for 2025.
In 2024, the Standing Committee of the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor directed all levels of the Trade Union to focus on concretizing the Trade Union Work Program for 2024, focusing on completing 13/15 targets and tasks assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, many targets exceeding the plan.
With the coordination of authorities at all levels, the efforts and proactiveness of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, the activities of trade unions at all levels in the province continue to have positive changes, responsibility, flexibility, practicality, timeliness, and strong orientation towards the grassroots and workers.
The Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor has also promptly, diversely and effectively organized the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers; practically cared for and improved the material and spiritual life, supported and helped union members and workers in difficult circumstances to stabilize their lives.
The Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor has deeply and widely deployed emulation movements, focusing on the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" to promote the spirit of enthusiasm for work, promote the creativity of cadres, union members and workers, contributing to improving labor productivity, building agencies, units and enterprises to develop more and more.
Strengthen the management and use of trade union finance and assets, and implement them effectively and economically in accordance with the regulations of the State and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Besides, there are still some shortcomings and limitations such as the work of grasping information, thoughts and aspirations of union members and workers is sometimes slow and not deep. The work of propaganda and legal advice for union members and workers is still limited and not regular.
Some grassroots trade unions still operate in a limited manner, their methods of operation are not very innovative and creative for union members and workers; they have not performed well their role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers, so they have not attracted and gathered workers.
Also at the conference, the Hai Duong Provincial Federation of Labor commended and rewarded children of civil servants, public employees, and laborers who overcame difficulties to study well and achieved high academic results in the 2023-2024 school year.
