On April 5, in response to the All People's Day of Voluntary Blood Donation April 7, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Nghe An province coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee (MTTQ) of Quynh Phu commune to organize a voluntary blood donation day.
The program attracted more than 600 officials, union members, youth and people to register to participate in blood donation. At the end of the morning, the Organizing Committee received 559 units of blood, contributing to supplementing blood sources for emergency and treatment work at medical facilities.

According to Ms. Nguyen Luong Hong - Chairwoman of the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society, voluntary blood donation activities not only show the spirit of compassion and responsibility to the community but also spread the value of sharing in society. "We will continue to promote propaganda and mobilization to make the blood donation movement increasingly sustainable," Ms. Hong said.
Previously, in Nghe An, many large-scale blood donation programs were organized, attracting a large number of workers to participate, contributing to building stable blood reserves to meet treatment needs.
