On March 27, Dong Phu Seafood Cooperative (HTX) held its Annual Congress, assessing the operating results in 2025 and setting out directions and tasks for 2026.
According to the Board of Directors' report, in 2025, in the context that the aquaculture industry is heavily affected by climate change, input material prices fluctuate and the consumption price of some products decreases, the cooperative still maintains stable operations, gradually recovering after a difficult period.
The Cooperative has completed the targets assigned by the Congress, admitted 4 new members, increased charter capital to 225 million VND, 100% of members contributed capital as committed. Notably, pre-tax revenue exceeded the 2025 plan, exceeding 140%.
In addition, the Cooperative effectively implements price support policies for members, with support levels from 5–10% of product prices, contributing to reducing input costs and improving production efficiency for cooperative members. Management and administration work continues to be consolidated, ensuring compliance with legal regulations and transparency in operation.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Dao Xuan Tung - Vice Chairman of Vinh Long Provincial Cooperative Alliance - acknowledged the efforts of Dong Phu Seafood Cooperative in stabilizing the organization, gradually improving operational efficiency, especially in the context that the seafood industry is still facing many difficulties. The cooperative's maintenance of growth, completion and exceeding of the set targets shows a suitable direction, promoting the role of linking and supporting cooperative members.
According to Mr. Tung, in the coming time, the Cooperative needs to continue to diversify products after farming, promote preliminary processing and processing to increase product value and reduce dependence on the raw material market. "At the same time, it is necessary to focus on building brands, expanding consumption markets, contributing to increasing income for members and sustainable development," Mr. Tung added.

In 2026, the Cooperative sets a goal to continue to improve management efficiency, promote the application of science and technology, digital transformation, towards building a closed production - consumption linkage chain, and improving competitiveness.
Currently, the cooperative has 13 members, setting a target to develop to 30 members by 2030, and at the same time increase charter capital to 2 billion VND to expand the scale of operations and increase production and business capacity.
Mr. Vo Thanh Quang was trusted by the Congress to be re-elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dong Phu Seafood Cooperative.
