On April 11, Huong An Ward Police (Hue City) organized a general inspection, review, and drug testing campaign in key areas along Dang Chiem and Tran Quy Khoang streets.
The deployment has the participation of local leaders and about 150 officers and soldiers from the police, mobile police, militia and self-defense forces and grassroots security and order protection forces.
Ward leaders emphasized that drug prevention and control is a key task, requiring forces to strengthen coordination, synchronously deploy professional measures, resolutely handle violations, towards the goal of building a "drug-free ward" by 2030.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, working groups deployed inspections at key points, conducting rapid tests for suspicious cases. Through this, 8 cases were found to be positive for drugs.
Currently, Huong An Ward Police are consolidating dossiers, verifying, and handling cases according to legal regulations.
The campaign shows the determination of the locality in fighting and preventing crime and drug evils, contributing to maintaining security and order in the area.
