On April 9, Hung Yen Provincial Police informed that through reconnaissance and grasping the situation in the area, the working group of Viet Tien Commune Police had just discovered and caught red-handed a subject in the act of illegally possessing drugs.
At 9:15 am on April 3, the working group of Viet Tien Commune Police inspected and discovered at the house of Do Dinh Luong (born in 1989, Viet Tien commune) signs of suspicion about the act of illegally possessing drugs.
During the inspection, the Task Force discovered and seized at the drinking table - where subject Do Dinh Luong was sitting - a nylon bag in the form of a zip bag, inside containing white crystalline substance. The subject confessed that this was drugs bought for use. The Task Force made a record of arresting the person who committed the crime red-handed against Do Dinh Luong for the act of illegally possessing drugs.
The results of the examination determined that the white crystalline substance mentioned above was heroin, weighing 1.907g.
On the same day, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police conducted an emergency search of the residence of suspect Do Dinh Luong. During the search, the police force discovered and seized many rubber electric cable shells, sections of electric cables (the type of cable with 4 copper wire cores), twisted wires made of bright metal and other related exhibits. The above-mentioned exhibits have a total weight of 218.6kg.
Initially, suspect Luong confessed that on March 24 and April 1, he cut sections of electric cables at lighting poles on roads in Van Giang commune, Hung Yen province and at lighting poles in the population expansion area in Nguyen Van Linh commune, Hung Yen province with the aim of selling them to get money for personal spending.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Hung Yen Provincial Police has issued a decision to temporarily detain Do Dinh Luong to continue investigating, verifying, clarifying and handling according to the provisions of law.
