Connecting Vietnam - Thailand to celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations

On April 25, a people-to-people exchange program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand took place in Dong Nai.

This is a program organized by the Dong Nai Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations in coordination with the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association with the participation of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang, Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City; Mr. Montri Suwanposri, Vice President of C.P. Vietnam, Member of the Thailand - Vietnam Friendship Association; representatives of the Thai Business Association in Vietnam (ThaiCham), along with leaders of departments, agencies, branches, friendship associations and more than 300 members.

One of the people-to-people diplomacy activities in Dong Nai towards the milestone of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Thailand. Within the framework of the program, 300 glasses and 300 gifts were presented to members, including many elderly people.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Montri Suwanposri said that the friendship between Vietnam and Thailand is not only expressed through diplomatic milestones, but also nurtured from specific activities close to people's lives.

According to Mr. Montri, the donation of glasses is a practical activity, contributing to supporting the elderly in daily life, bringing practical value, and also a manifestation of the connection between the people of the two countries.

Representatives of the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of Dong Nai province said that in the past time, cultural exchange programs, people-to-people diplomacy and social security activities have contributed to creating strong connections between the people of the two countries.

As a Thai enterprise with more than 30 years of operation in Vietnam, C.P. Vietnam said it will continue to accompany community programs, including health care, social security and support for people in difficult circumstances.

Through this program, C.P. Vietnam wishes to continue to contribute to people-to-people diplomacy activities, and at the same time spread the spirit of sharing and responsibility to the community in the locality where the business is operating.
