The exhibition offers a unique experiential space where the senses are guided through a journey to discover the mysterious beauty of truffles – the black pearl of Italian cuisine.
The exhibition "Scent of Italy" will continue to run from 10am to 6pm every day, from November 27 to December 8, 2024.

Aiming to provide a multi-sensory experience, the exhibition is designed in four experiential areas, the Visual Station, the Scent Station, the VR Station and the Interactive Station. If the Visual Station is where the story of truffles is told through artistic images and special documentaries, the Scent Station is where the audience closes their eyes to let their hearing take over.

The Scent Station will take the audience to explore the unique layers of truffle aromas contained in glass cages - from the smell of moist soil, the scent of tree roots, the intensity of garlic and cloves, to the irresistible charm of truffles in cuisine. Returning to the visual experience journey, the VR Station is a destination that takes the audience to a completely different dimension, immersed in virtual reality technology, traveling through the forests of Italy to witness the truffle harvesting process under the guidance of truffle hunting dogs.
At the Interactive Station, the audience had the opportunity to directly experience interesting historical, cultural and geographical knowledge about truffles. Also during the opening ceremony, the guests experienced a new taste station with products made with ingredients combined with truffles from the organizers, such as French-style rare beef combined with black truffle butter and balsamic mushrooms, or tramezzino cake with quail eggs and truffle mayo sauce...

Italian Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Marco Della Seta, shared at the opening ceremony: "The exhibition 'The Flavors of Italy' not only offers an opportunity to discover the quintessence of Italian cuisine, but also an occasion to honor our creativity and love for nature. This is part of the effort to bring Italian cultural and culinary values closer to the Vietnamese community."
The ambassador also made a humorous comment: “Currently, the demand and conditions for Vietnamese people to access truffles are increasing. Several species of truffles have been found in Yunnan province, China, so in the near future, it is very likely that we will find truffles in Vietnam.”

Mr. Hoang Tung, Co-founder and Head Chef of T.U.N.G dining restaurant and Å by TUNG, commented: “This is an opportunity to enjoy the taste of truffles in a multi-sensory exhibition about the history of this mushroom and its application in contemporary cuisine.
And it is also great that in this exhibition, people can get closer to truffles, enjoy its taste under the hands of chefs.”
The exhibition promises to bring unique and interesting experiences, helping the Vietnamese public understand more about one of the great achievements of Italian cuisine and culture.
