The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Bui Van Luong - Vice Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Thai Nguyen province and a large number of local people.
The project to restore the National Historical Site of Duom Temple will start construction in mid-2025. The project is implemented from socialized capital, with funding sponsored by Mr. Nguyen Huy Quy - General Director of Thang Long Mineral Investment, Construction and Exploitation Joint Stock Company. After completion, the project will be handed over to the locality for management and operation.

In the Duom Temple relic restoration project, the main items such as the repair of the road up, restoration, and reinforcement of the Upper Temple; ngan Trung Temple renovation according to Dinh-shaped architecture with 2 parts including the front hall and the Upper hall, construction area of 110m2; Mrs. Dien Binh's roof and Mrs. Thieu Dung's roof were completely demolished, the foundation was reinforced, and the foundation was prevented. Renovated and embellished 2 Lunar New Year's Eve with 3 rooms with a construction area of 44m2/room; Ninh Communal House was renovated with First letter architecture with 3 rooms with a construction area of 37m.
The Duong Temple worships General Duong Tu Minh - the Tay ethnic group, who made great contributions to reclaiming land from the Tong invaders and firmly protecting the northern border area of Dai Viet. Under the Ly Dynasty, he became the leader of the Phu Luong government, guarding the northern border area.


Traditionally, Duom Temple was built in 1180 and is located at the foot of Duom Mountain, Phu Luong Commune.
The temple is built in a three-level architectural style including: the Upper Temple is the place to worship Mother Dia; the Central Temple of Pho Ma Do, captain Duong Tu Minh; the Lower Temple is the two temples worshiping princess Dien Binh and Principess Thieu Dung.
The Duom Temple Festival is held on the 5th and 6th of January every year. This is one of the major festivals of Thai Nguyen province on the occasion of the New Year's Eve. The festival includes traditional rituals such as: Land procession, water procession; Tree erection Ceremony, Sealing Ceremony, Official Ceremony; Offering offerings to the temple, Dai te... The festival organizes many unique folk cultural activities.

The historical site of Duom Temple was recognized as a National Historical Site in 1993. The Duom Temple Festival was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2017.
Since 1980, the National Scenic Landscape Historical Relic Complex of Duom Temple has undergone 9 restorations and renovations.
