On April 21, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that through reconnaissance work, grasping the situation and area, Hong Quang Ward Police had just inspected, discovered, and arrested 2 subjects for illegally possessing drugs.
Previously, during patrols and controls in the main road area of Hong Quang ward, the task force of the ward police inspected and discovered Tran Manh Tuong (born in 1976, residing in Nam Dinh ward) illegally possessing drugs including heroin and synthetic drugs (methamphetamine).
During the investigation, exploitation, and expansion of the case, Hong Quang Ward Police continued to conduct an emergency search of the residence of subject Doan Huu Chung (born in 1990, in Thien Truong ward). Searching, it was discovered that Doan Huu Chung also had acts of illegally possessing drugs.
Currently, Hong Quang Ward Police are coordinating with functional units to continue investigating and handling the subjects according to the provisions of law.
