Accordingly, units continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the Law on Management and Use of VK, VLN, CCHT in 2024.
From there, focus on promoting the dissemination of new legal regulations, consequences and sanctions for acts of manufacturing, trading, transporting, storing and illegally using VK, VLN, CCHT.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police to preside over advising on the establishment of a Steering Committee for propaganda, mobilization, and recovery of VK, VLN, CCHT; organize the receipt and thorough recovery of weapons and explosives still floating outside society.
Along with that, focus on fighting and dismantling lines of illegal trading, transportation, and storage of weapons and explosives in cyberspace, through postal services and key traffic routes.
The Provincial Military Command coordinates to receive, handle, and safely destroy discovered bombs, mines, and explosives.
People's Committees of communes, wards, and special zones promote the movement "All people protect national security", mobilize people to voluntarily hand over VK, VLN, CCHT and promptly resolve conflicts arising at the grassroots level.
According to the assessment of functional agencies, although propaganda work in the past time has contributed to raising people's awareness, the situation of manufacturing, trading, transporting, storing and illegally using VK, VLN, CCHT is still complicated.
Subjects are increasingly taking advantage of cyberspace and postal services to operate, potentially affecting security and order.
