On June 27, Hue City People's Committee organized a nationwide online meeting and a race in response to the theme "United determination to build communes and wards without drugs" in 2026.
The program to respond to the Action Month for Drug Prevention and Control in 2026, International Day for Drug Prevention and Control and National Day for Drug Prevention and Control (June 26) is launched by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Hanoi People's Committee nationwide.
The rally was held directly at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square (Hanoi), online connected to 33 provinces and cities and 3,321 communes, wards, and special zones nationwide.
In Hue City, the bridge point is located in the Nghinh Luong Dinh area (Le Duan street, Phu Xuan ward), attracting more than 2,000 delegates, union members, youth, armed forces and people to participate.
Immediately after the rally, delegates and people participating in the race responded to the route Nghinh Luong Dinh - Le Duan street - Cua Ngan - 23/8 street - Cua Quang Duc - Le Duan street and finished at Nghinh Luong Dinh.
Activities are also organized simultaneously in communes and wards in the area to spread the message of drug prevention and control, raise community awareness, build a healthy lifestyle and contribute to the implementation of the goal of building communes and wards without drugs.
