In the early morning of May 19th, on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, km206 section through Ham Thuan Bac commune, Lam Dong province, a tanker truck overturned on the side of the road. This location is about 2km from the National Highway 28 intersection.
At about 4:30 am on the same day, a tractor-trailer with a trailer with license plate 77RM-01xxx pulling a tank, was traveling on the highway in the South - North direction.
When arriving at the above location, the tanker truck suddenly rushed into the roadside and overturned on the highway safety corridor. Fortunately, the incident did not cause any casualties.
Upon receiving the news, Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Room 6, Traffic Police Department) and the expressway management unit arrived at the scene to regulate traffic and set up warnings.
Traffic police have temporarily closed the South-North road section from the National Highway 28 intersection to handle the scene. Because the tanker truck is heavy, it is difficult to crane the damaged vehicle.
By 9 am on the same day, the road section passing through the location where the tanker truck crashed was still temporarily closed. Vehicles were regulated to go to National Highway 28, to National Highway 1 to continue traveling in the South - North direction.
