According to the police agency, from August 2024 to present, in parallel with the establishment of a Working Group to increase patrols and handle violations, the Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police has coordinated with the grassroots police force to focus on propaganda, mobilizing people to voluntarily destroy homemade vehicles and sign a commitment not to repeat violations.
The police force has reviewed and made a list of mechanical workshops, production and manufacturing establishments, and organizations and individuals who are using homemade vehicles. After that, the propaganda organization mobilized and signed commitments with people to strictly abide by the provisions of the law on the prohibition of production, circulation of vehicles produced and assembled in contravention of regulations. As a result, campaigned to dismantle 201 vehicles; sanction administrative violations of 383 cases; A fine of more than 140 million.
