Musician Xuan Binh is currently Deputy Head of the Navy Art Troupe (Navy Command), Head of Hai Phong Young Composers Club; Vice Chairman of Hai Phong Music Association. He is one of the typical musicians, making many important contributions to the country's music in general and the music of the armed forces in particular. In addition to being a composer, he is also a manager and takes on many roles such as General Director - Music Director of many large and small art programs of Hai Phong City as well as the country.
In his writing career, musician Xuan Binh has affirmed his talent and solid position with a series of prestigious awards from prestigious organizations: Vietnam Musicians Association; Ministry of National Defense; Ministry of Public Security; Navy. The 2 topics that he has given the most emotions about are love for the sea and islands and Navy soldiers and compositions about the land and people of Hai Phong with affection, generosity, liberality and sincerity.
For musician Xuan Binh, Hai Phong is not only where he lives and works, but also his second homeland - the land that has preserved, nurtured and wings for the most intense musical emotions in his artistic creative journey. From love, attachment and deep gratitude for the Port city, the music night "My Hometown Hai Phong" was born as a special artistic mark: both a deep gratitude from the artist to the city and a practical contribution to the direction of cultural and artistic development of Hai Phong in the new period.
In the context of Hai Phong implementing the Project to build a Music City in the period 2026–2030, with a vision to 2045, the organization of an art program "My Hometown Hai Phong" is even more political, cultural and socially significant. The core objective of the Project is to make music one of the important driving forces promoting economic and cultural development, building Hai Phong into an international cultural destination.
With nearly 20 songs written specifically about the people and land of Hai Phong, musician Xuan Binh has devoted his whole heart, love and responsibility to portray the beauty of the Port city with music. His songs have become familiar to Hai Phong such as: Bach Dang Giang Ky Su, Huyen thoai Tien Ngo Vuong, Khuc hoai niem, Thanh pho Em, Hai Phong que huong toi, Noi long nguoi xa que, Ngau hung mien cua bien, Dem Hai Phong, Toi nguoi Hai Phong....
The program is heavily invested by musician Xuan Binh, promising to bring a quality music night in terms of expertise as well as art when he brings a large orchestra (65 musicians including an electronic band combined with a symphony orchestra and a choir). The program is directed by musician Huyen Trung as Music Director; Orchestra Director - Conductor Luu Quang Minh.
With the participation of a "huge" cast of stars from many generations: People's Artist Tan Minh, Meritorious Artist Diva Thanh Lam, People's Artist Khanh Hoa, People's Artist Nhat Thuan, Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Meritorious Artist Phuong Anh; Artists from Sao Mai: Le Anh Dung; Musician, singers Hoang Hong Ngoc, Thu Thuy, Hong Duyen... The music night will take place at 8:00 PM on July 11, 2026 at Hoa Phuong Theater - Hai Phong City.
