On July 18, Dong Cuong Commune Police (Lao Cai province) said that they had just coordinated to return the lost property to a resident after receiving it from a woman with a beautiful action, who picked up the lost property and proactively handed it over to find the owner.
Accordingly, in the afternoon of July 17, Ms. Pham Thi Le Hang (born 1976, residing in An Binh village, Dong Cuong commune) picked up a brown leather wallet containing many personal papers and 5,792,000 VND in cash.

Immediately after that, Ms. Hang brought all the property to Dong Cuong Commune Police to report, asking functional forces to verify and return it to the person who lost it.
Upon receiving the information, the commune police quickly checked the papers in the wallet, conducted verification and after only about 1 hour, the owner was identified as Mr. Tan Anh Van (born 1998, residing in Ngoi Ca village, Lam Giang commune, Lao Cai province).
Mr. Van said that before that, when moving from Mau A commune to Lam Giang commune, passing through An Binh village area, due to carelessness, he dropped his wallet without knowing it.
After completing verification, Dong Cuong Commune Police fully returned the money and all documents to Mr. Van.
Receiving his property back, Mr. Van expressed his joy and sent sincere thanks to Ms. Pham Thi Le Hang and the Dong Cuong Commune Police force for promptly supporting him in finding his property back.
According to Dong Cuong Commune Police, Ms. Hang's action is a beautiful gesture, showing the spirit of honesty and responsibility, contributing to spreading human values and building the movement "All people protect national security" in the area.
