5 sacks containing hundreds of kilograms of drugs found on the roadside in Hanoi
On the morning of December 20, the Department of Drug Crime Investigation (C04, Ministry of Public Security) held a press conference to provide information on the results of drug prevention and control work in 2024.
At the meeting, C04 said that in the first 11 months of 2024, it had fought 84 cases, arrested 358 subjects, seized 190 kg of heroin, 850 kg and more than 640,000 synthetic drug pills along with many military weapons and assets. Typical example is Project 522H.
After the bus dropped 5 sacks on the side of the road and continued moving, the drug criminals quickly approached and carried the goods but were raided by the police.

People can ride free electric buses connecting to Metro Line 1
On the morning of December 20, 17 electric bus routes connecting Metro Line 1 officially started operating, serving people to experience the city's first tram line.
Mr. Dao Viet Anh - General Director of Phuong Trang Company said that the fleet of vehicles operating on 17 routes includes 150 newly invested electric buses, with a capacity of 30 and 60 seats.
The operating hours of these bus routes are from 5am to 10pm, following the operating hours of Metro Line 1, with an interval of 8-20 minutes between each trip. In particular, passengers using these 17 bus routes will be exempted from tickets for the first 30 days, in sync with Metro Line 1.

Khanh Le Pass landslide is still complicated, opening date unknown
On December 20, the Department of Transport of Khanh Hoa province said that the authorities of Khanh Hoa and Lam Dong provinces are agreeing on the plan and time to ban traffic on National Highway 27C, through Khanh Le Pass. They will then report to the provincial leaders and announce information to the public about the ban on traffic.
