Initial report on the case of two teenagers being assaulted by an Internet shop owner in Ho Chi Minh City
On July 5, the People's Committee of Tan Thoi Hiep Ward (HCMC) informed that it had directed the authorities to quickly verify the clip that went viral on social media recording a man continuously beating two teenagers in an Internet cafe in the area. According to the Ward People's Committee, after receiving information from social networks, Tan Thoi Hiep Ward Police urgently reviewed and determined that the incident occurred at around 2:30 a.m. on March 23, 2025 at an Internet cafe named T.G on Nguyen Anh Thu Street. The man appearing in the clip is identified as N.V.H. (30 years old) the owner of the restaurant.
Through working with the local working group and the Criminal Police Department (PC02), Ho Chi Minh City Police, the two teenagers who were beaten were identified as H.T.L. (14 years old) and V.M.H. (13 years old), all residing in Tan Thoi Hiep ward. The police contacted the family to invite the two students to work, but at that time they were not at home. At the same time, the police also worked with the staff at the restaurant to collect related statements.

Through on-site inspection, the restaurant had complete legal documents but the price list was unclear, causing confusion for customers.

The People's Committee of the ward issued Decision No. 24/QD-UBND, dated July 4, 2025, to administratively fine Mr. Pham Van Thang - restaurant owner 750,000 VND; at the same time, requesting to stop the violation, ensure business activities in accordance with regulations, contributing to building a civilized tourism environment.

Son La Hydropower Reservoir is bustling again after a long period
After many weeks, the water level of Son La Hydropower Reservoir has dropped due to the severe heat, and the water has now risen again.
