Passenger bus overturns, killing 10 people in Ha Tinh
At Ky Anh General Hospital, many victims of the passenger bus overturn on National Highway 1A in the early morning of July 25 are still in shock.
According to the report of the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province, at around 2:10 a.m. on July 25, at Km571+800 National Highway 1A, through Dong Trinh Residential Group, Song Tri Ward, a sleeper bus with license plate 43F-007.76 of Tan Kim Chi bus company (Hanoi - Da Nang route) crashed into a milestone on the side of the road and overturned.
At the time of the accident, there were 28 people on the bus, including the driver, bus assistant and 26 passengers (including 1 child under 7 years old). As a result, 10 people died - of which 7 died on the spot, 3 died after emergency care.
The remaining injured people are being treated at Ky Anh General Hospital.

After repairing Long Thanh Bridge, the entrances to Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway are reopened
The repair of the Long Thanh bridge expansion joints on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway has been completed, and the expressway entrances have reopened.
On July 25, a representative of Vietnam Expressway Engineering Services Joint Stock Company (VEC E) - the expressway operator - said that the expansion joints repair work at pillar P26 - Km12 +907, Long Thanh bridge (left of the route) on the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway has been completed.
The contractor has also cleared the construction site, restored the road surface, and the entrances to the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway from intersections such as National Highway 51, National Highway 1, and Road 319, which were also reopened from 9:30 a.m. on July 25, helping traffic on the route to stabilize again.

Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police launch a general inspection from today, many violations will be severely punished
From July 25, the Ho Chi Minh City Traffic Police force officially launched a peak period of general control and handling of road and waterway transport business vehicles. The campaign will last until August 25, with the goal of tightening management, ensuring traffic safety and order, preventing and reducing accidents.
In the road sector, the traffic police focus on strictly handling violations of alcohol and drug concentrations; speeding; carrying goods exceeding the load, carrying more people; stopping, parking, picking up and dropping off passengers in the wrong place; violating regulations on lane change and signal; not complying with instructions from authorities; using vehicles without inspection certificates or that have expired.
In addition, the authorities also check data from journey monitoring devices, driver images and transport business conditions.
