Lying on a hospital bed with many injuries on his body, Mr. Nguyen Quang Trang (born in 1979, from Hanoi) choked up as he and his wife got on a bus from Hanoi to return to Da Nang to work. At that time, it was around 2am, while everyone was sleeping, I saw the car tilted strongly, as if it had just crashed into the median strip. Before I could react, the car overturned into an empty lot, Trang recalled.
According to Mr. Trang, the car compartment was extremely chaotic at that time. Many people panicked and screamed for help. The glass broke, some passengers were thrown out, others were stuck or were crushed by vehicles due to strong collisions.
"When the car was lifted, I saw a few people lying below. Among them was my wife, Mr. Trang choked up. The health of his wife, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (born in 1990), is still unknown.

Meanwhile, Ms. Anh Thu (residing in Hanoi) recounted the horrifying moment. Ms. Thu and Mr. Duc Lam took a bus from Ao Xao urban area (Hanoi) to Da Nang to travel.
"We were in a sleeper bus, so we were on the first floor, at the back of the bus. When the car overturned, I only heard a very loud roar and everything changed. I didn't know what was happening, I just knew I was hit hard on the bed, my hands hurt and I couldn't sit up. Most of the dead were behind the cabin, where the driver was hit the most. Some people were crushed, some were hit by the bed wall very hard" - Ms. Thu said.
