Warning discipline for vice principal related to the case of a candidate bringing a phone into the exam room
On August 17, news from the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that it had issued a decision to discipline management officials for violating the 2026 high school graduation exam regulations during the performance of duties at the Ngo Gia Tu High School exam site (Bac Cam Ranh ward).
Accordingly, Mr. T.H. T - Vice Principal of Ha Huy Tap High School (Tay Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province) - was disciplined with a warning. The disciplinary period is 12 months.
Mr. T.H. T is also the Head of the high school graduation exam site at Ngo Gia Tu High School exam site.
For other teachers performing exam supervision duties, if errors occur at exam room No. 0577 of Ngo Gia Tu High School exam site, units and localities managing these officials and teachers will consider and handle them according to regulations.

Large group of red-shanked douc langurs discovered in Quang Tri
On the afternoon of August 17, the Management Board of Nam Quang Tri Special-Use Forest said that a herd of red-shanked douc langurs (Pygathrix nemaeus) was discovered in sub-zone 613, belonging to Bac Huong Hoa Nature Reserve.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Hieu - Deputy Director of the Southern Quang Tri Special-Use Forest Management Board said that this is the first time the unit has recorded a large number of red-shanked douc langurs at close range, thereby capturing many clear images of this rare primate species.
Notably, the location where the douc langur herd appeared is only about 3km from the residential area. According to Mr. Hieu, the appearance of rare wild animals relatively close to the residential area is a positive sign for forest management, protection and control of wildlife hunting in the area.

Son La stops civil servant recruitment in 2025, refunds fees
On August 17, the Office of Son La Provincial People's Committee said that on August 14, the Provincial People's Committee issued Notice No. 286/TB-UBND on stopping the organization of civil servant recruitment to work at provincial and commune-level administrative agencies in 2025.
According to the announcement, the suspension of the recruitment period is implemented according to Conclusion No. 727-KL/TU dated August 7, 2026 of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the policy of stopping the implementation of the civil servant recruitment plan for 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee requests departments, agencies, branches and commune-level People's Committees to inform and publicize the content of the notice to candidates. The Provincial Information Center posted the notice on the Son La Provincial Electronic Information Portal.
