Female librarian dies after emotional conflict with male teacher from the same school
On August 14, Dak Lak Provincial Police announced the results of the investigation and verification of the case of Ms. L.T.M. D (born 1987, residing in Ea Wy commune, Dak Lak province) being reported missing.
The verification results determined that N.H. L (born 1988, residing in Ea Drăng commune, Dak Lak province), a Physical Education teacher at Le Dinh Chinh Elementary School, was directly involved in the incident.
According to initial investigation results, after attending a school party, N.H. L came to Ms. L.T.M. D's room in the school's dormitory to talk.
Here, a conflict and argument occurred between the two people. After that, N.H. L used force against Ms. L.T.M. D, leading to Ms. L.T.M. D's death.
After the incident, due to panic and fear of being discovered, N.H. L tried to hide the incident by burning clothes, blankets, and pillows in her room to erase traces; then brought Ms. L.T.M. D's body to her garden in hamlet 13, Ea Drăng commune and buried the victim there.

Ministry of Education and Training seeks opinions on the 10th grade exam plan including 2 subjects: Math and Literature
The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) has just issued an official letter requesting the Departments of Education and Training of Hanoi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City to study and contribute opinions on the draft Circular regulating secondary school enrollment and high school enrollment.

One of the notable contents in the draft is the regulation on organizing entrance exams. Specifically, in Article 15, the draft stipulates the number of exam subjects for public high school enrollment including 2 subjects: Mathematics and Literature. For secondary school enrollment, at institutions that organize competency assessment exams, the number of exam subjects includes Mathematics and Vietnamese.
According to the draft, the exam time for Literature is 120 minutes; Math is from 90 to 120 minutes for high school entrance exams. If maintained and promulgated, this regulation will be a major change compared to the current Enrollment Regulations.

Piloting electric three-wheeled vehicles, eliminating self-made vehicles
The Ministry of Public Security has just proposed the Project "Production, assembly and pilot registration for circulation and use of electric three-wheeled vehicles". This vehicle is aimed at being used in 3 main groups of activities: Urban waste collection and transportation; postal services, logistics; fire prevention and fighting (PCCC), rescue and salvage (CNCH) and road washing.
The Ministry of Public Security affirmed that the research on this type of vehicle is not aimed at restoring the self-made three-wheeled vehicle model but towards a new type of vehicle that meets technical safety standards, protects the environment and is strictly managed.
The vehicle will be equipped with demolition equipment, fire extinguishers and first aid tools to handle initial situations. Pilot scope: Expected to be deployed in large cities, densely populated areas, many alleys; and at the same time study and apply in island areas and eco-tourism areas.
