More than 151,000 candidates are about to enter the 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT), in the 2025-2026 school year, the whole city has 169,602 9th grade students graduating from secondary school. Of which, 151,269 students registered to take the 10th grade public school entrance exam.
Candidates take 3 compulsory subjects including Literature, Mathematics and Foreign Language. In which, Literature and Mathematics have a test time of 120 minutes, Foreign Language 90 minutes. For candidates registering for specialized or integrated classes, in addition to the 3 common subjects, they must also take a specialized or integrated exam in the afternoon of June 2. Specialized and integrated exams have a test time of 150 minutes.

Opening to traffic the first 22km on the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway
From 9 am on May 28, the 22km long expressway section from National Highway 1 intersection to National Highway 26 intersection of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot expressway project was officially put into operation after being assessed as meeting acceptance conditions.

According to the Khanh Hoa Agricultural and Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board, the section passing through Ninh Hoa ward and Hoa Tri, Tan Dinh and Tay Ninh Hoa communes has been assessed by specialized agencies as meeting the conditions for acceptance on May 23.

Electricity consumption in Hanoi sets a record, many places lose power
EVN Hanoi said that the weather continues to be hot, with temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius at times, causing the demand for cooling equipment to increase.
According to records of the Hanoi City power system, the peak capacity (Pmax) set at 9:30 PM on May 26, 2026 was 6, 290MW, an increase of nearly 5% compared to the peak capacity in 2025 (5, 992 MW); electricity consumption on May 26 also reached 131.76 million kWh, an increase of 7.3% compared to 2025 (122.84 million kWh). All indicators set new unprecedented records.
