More than 3,500 candidates begin to win 10th grade tickets at the Petroleum Academy in Ho Chi Minh City
On the morning of May 24, more than 3,500 candidates officially entered the 10th grade entrance exam of the School for the Gifted - Ho Chi Minh City National University for the 2025-2026 school year. The exam takes place over 2 days, May 24-25, at 3 exam locations including: Petroleum High School - District 5 campus; Saigon Practical High School (District 5) and Petroleum High School (Thu Duc campus).
This year, the gifted school has 3,509 candidates registering for the exam, decreasing compared to the previous year (3,843). The average fighting rate this year is 1/5.9. In particular, the highest number of candidates registered to English, math, and Literature classes. English subjects have 1,272 candidates, followed by Math with more than 1,018 children, Literature has 782 candidates.

The 600 billion VND resort urban area project is in disarray after many years of abandonment
The Vincestec - Hue Resort Urban Area Project worth about 600 billion VND was constructed at a minimum and then abandoned, many items are deteriorating and at risk of collapse. Forecast of gasoline price developments next week
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world petroleum market last week's operating period (from May 15, 2025 to May 21, 2025) was affected by main factors such as: continued tension in the Middle East; increased US crude oil reserves; updated information on US tax policies on goods from trading partners; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues... The above factors have caused world petroleum prices in recent days to fluctuate depending on each commodity.
For the domestic market, a representative of a petroleum business said that domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in this afternoon's price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may have opposite adjustments in the direction of increasing gasoline prices and decreasing oil prices. In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 50-100 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 80-120 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 250-350 VND/liter.
