The 600 billion VND resort urban area project is in disarray after many years of abandonment

However, due to the deterioration of the works, the safety of the people taking shelter inside will not be guaranteed.

As a resident living near the project, Mr. Le Trung (26 years old) said that for many years now, the project has been unconstructed, everything inside is abandoned, cows, goats, dogs, cats can enter and exit. "Although built in a prime location, leaning against Tam Giang Border, the facade opposite Phu Thuan beach, the project was built with a fee and then thrown aside, causing waste" - Mr. Trung said.

It is known that the Vinonstec - Hue project was granted an investment certificate by the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province (now Hue city) in 2008, with the first adjustment in June 2012. The project is invested by Vietnam Technology Development and Construction Joint Stock Company.

The project is implemented with a total investment of about 600 billion VND. The scale of the project includes the planning research area of 72.09ha. Of which, the resort area has an area of 25.97 hectares, the urban and commercial service area has an area of 36.1 hectares, the resettlement area has an area of 10.01 hectares and is expected to be completed in 2011.

The reason for the delay in the Vinonstec - Hue Urban Resort Project due to problems with site clearance and unresolved planning adjustment procedures; combined with the investor's lack of resource concentration has caused the Vinonstec Urban and Resort Project to be abandoned for many years.
