HCMC studies banning students from using phones in school
On July 10, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Ho Chi Minh City announced the conclusion of Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Director of the Department at the meeting after the merger. Accordingly, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested that in September, the Department of Education and Training be responsible for presiding over and coordinating with the Department of Quality Management to advise on the 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2026-2027 school year as soon as possible so that students and teachers at educational institutions know and orient their teaching and learning.
Research and advise on a proposed ban on allowing students to use mobile phones during recess and during educational activities at school (except for cases where the subject teacher allows them to perform service tasks during class).

Hanoi officially changes the name of the Capital Youth Park, naming 38 new streets
On the morning of July 10, continuing the program of the 25th Session, the Hanoi People's Council passed a Resolution on naming and adjusting the length of a number of streets, streets, and public works in Hanoi in 2025. Accordingly, the city will name 38 new roads and streets; adjust the length of 6 roads and streets.

The Hanoi People's Committee said that naming and adjusting the length of newly qualified streets and roads will create favorable conditions for State management of population, urban management, administrative transactions, and social culture, meeting the legitimate needs of people in localities. In addition, the city will name 14 new public works; rename 1 public works (capital Youth Park into Vo Thi Sau Park).

Mobilizing nearly 13,000 personnel to urgently construct Long Thanh airport
