On the morning of July 10, continuing the program of the 25th Session, the Hanoi People's Council passed a Resolution on naming and adjusting the length of a number of streets, streets, and public works in Hanoi in 2025.
Accordingly, the city will name 38 new roads and streets; adjust the length of 6 roads and streets.
The Hanoi People's Committee said that naming and adjusting the length of newly qualified streets and roads will create favorable conditions for State management of population, urban management, administrative transactions, and social culture, meeting the legitimate needs of people in localities.
In addition, the city will name 14 new public works; rename 1 public works (capital Youth Park into Vo Thi Sau Park).




Of the 59 streets and public works, 38 streets have new names (17 streets and streets with place names; 21 streets with famous names).
14 public works have new names (12 works have place names; 2 works have famous names).
According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the Capital Youth Park (area of 26.75 ha) was formed in the 1970s by the Hanoi youth.
The park currently has the following works: Outdoor Theater (Xuan Palace); 1,500-seat gymnasium; temple; lake restaurant; swimming pool; monument to the Hero of the Armed Forces Vo Thi Sau.
The hero of the People's Armed Forces Vo Thi Sau was a female hero who sacrificed herself at a very young age, a typical symbol of the country's golden youth generation in the war against France.
On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the 80th anniversary of the country's independence, the local government and people wish to change the name of the Capital Youth Park to Vo Thi Sau Park to continue to propagate and educate generations about the heroic sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the nation of previous generations, of the heroic female hero Vo Thi Sau, carrying out the work of restoration and embellishment of the park to better promote the value of the park for the common development of the City.
