On the afternoon of September 2, the last day of the holiday, a large number of vehicles poured into the city, causing many sections of the road on National Highway 1A - the western gateway of Ho Chi Minh City to be congested.
From around 3pm, the flow of vehicles from the Western provinces towards Ho Chi Minh City has continuously increased. On National Highway 1A, Binh Thuan overpass (section through Binh Dong ward, Binh Chanh commune)... thousands of motorbikes, cars crowded together, at many times vehicles could only move slowly.
