Temporarily opening Prenn Pass to Da Lat at some time frames
After a period of landslide repair, Lam Dong province has decided to temporarily reopen Prenn Pass to Da Lat at certain times of the day.
On December 5, Lam Dong Department of Construction announced the temporary resumption of traffic on Prenn Pass (National Highway 20) in Xuan Huong - Da Lat Ward, Lam Dong Province from December 5 to 7.
The Department of Construction said that based on the repair and overcoming of landslides on the Prenn Pass road up to now and to ensure traffic for people and tourists to Da Lat, the unit decided to temporarily reopen the road.

Big fire at restaurant in the center of Ho Chi Minh City, 4 people died
At around 4am, the fire suddenly appeared and spread quickly in the restaurant on Tran Hung Dao Street (Cau Ong Lanh Ward), the smoke and fire covered almost the entire house. The thick black smoke column rose tens of meters high, which could be observed from afar.
Immediately after receiving the report, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07), Ho Chi Minh City Police urgently mobilized forces and specialized ladder trucks to approach the scene. Rescue work was prioritized, focusing on searching and bringing the trapped people out.
After controlling the fire, the police brought about 8 people out in a state of smoke inhalation, transferred them to Saigon General Hospital and Gia Dinh People's Hospital for emergency care. However, 4 people died and some were injured.

Overnight rescue of many households in deeply flooded areas in Lam Dong
From the afternoon of December 4, floodwater from upstream has poured in due to increased water flow through the overflow of Song Quao Lake. By the evening of the same day, water reached Ham Thang ward (Lam Dong province), causing many houses to be deeply flooded. National Highway 1 through the area is also flooded, making it impossible for motorbikes to travel.
The area on both sides of the Cai River basin and Phu Hai River was flooded.
Many rescue teams have transported water motorbikes to Ham Thang ward to support the evacuation of people to safety.
In the old Phu Long town area (Ham Thang ward), many people living along the Cai River climbed to the roofs to stand in supplication. Mr. Truong Minh Khoa's rescue team quickly squeezed into each alley to rescue people.
