Dak Lak - The local government has just evacuated 800 people in Ea Han village, Yang Mao commune due to the risk of a large landslide near a residential area.

On November 19, Mr. Trinh Van Minh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Yang Mao Commune, Dak Lak Province - said that due to the serious landslide situation in the locality, the authorities have evacuated 800 people from Ea Han Village to Yang Han Secondary School to ensure safety.

Also in this commune, 3 villages were isolated and 2 bridges were damaged by floodwaters, cutting off traffic. To provide food to the people, the authorities used motorbikes to transport necessities to the flooded areas.

The leaders of Yang Mao commune were present at the scene, directing the evacuation of people from the dangerous area.

Continuous heavy rain in the past 3 days has affected many localities in Dak Lak. In some communes and wards in the eastern part of the province, many houses were flooded up to the roof. The authorities promptly rescued and urgently evacuated the people.
