Dien Bien warns of extremely dangerous forest fires

On March 6, the Dien Bien Forest Protection Department said that forecasting the risk of forest fires until March 10, many communes and wards are facing a very high risk of forest fires.
Specifically, the Tuan Giao area, the sub-region of Dien Bien valley and the Muong Lay area are warning of extremely dangerous forest fires (Level V).
According to the Forest Protection Department, low rainfall and drought have made the vegetation under the forest very flammable. The burning of fields and the uncontrolled use of fire near the forest area have led to a number of vegetation fires in Thanh Yen and Quai To communes.
