Ho Chi Minh City Police discover nearly 300 foreigners entering illegally
On June 12, Ho Chi Minh City Police informed about the results of the peak period of general review to clean up the area. Accordingly, the Director of Ho Chi Minh City Police directly directed the establishment of 22 working groups chaired by the Immigration Management Department, coordinating with local police units to simultaneously inspect and handle violations at accommodation establishments in the city.
Through the process of inspecting 420 accommodation establishments, functional forces discovered 84 cases of unreported residence of foreigners. In particular, the police discovered nearly 300 foreigners with acts of illegal entry, illegal labor, as well as participating in gambling and fraud activities in cyberspace.

Lao Cai warns of level 1 natural disaster due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail

On the evening of June 12, Lao Cai Provincial Hydrometeorological Station informed that through monitoring on satellite images, lightning positioning data and weather radar, it shows that there are developing convective cloud areas causing showers, locally heavy to very heavy rain and thunderstorms for villages/hamlets/residential groups in communes/wards: Che Tao, Lao Chai, Lao Cai, Y Ty, Trinh Tuong.
At the same time, convective cloud areas are developing in the Lai Chau and Son La provinces and are moving towards Lao Cai province.

Heavy rain deeply floods Provincial Road 725 in Lam Dong, local traffic jam for many hours
On the afternoon of June 12, a heavy rain lasting more than 2 hours in Bao Lam 1 commune (Lam Dong) caused a section of Provincial Road 725 through the Tan Rai Alumin Plant area to be deeply flooded from 0.7 to nearly 1m.
According to records, floodwaters stretched hundreds of meters, turning the road into a "river", making it impossible for vehicles to pass through this area. Traffic on the route was locally blocked for many hours.
