Proposal to add 1 full-time holiday to the Labor Code
The Ministry of Home Affairs proposes to supplement the regulation that November 24th every year is "Vietnam Culture Day" and is a full-wage holiday in the Labor Code.
The Ministry of Home Affairs is seeking opinions on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Labor Code, the Law on Archives, the Law on Gender Equality and the Law on Red Cross Activities.
Accordingly, regarding the Labor Code, the Ministry of Home Affairs proposes to amend and supplement Clause 3, Article 112 on holidays and Tet.
The draft law adds point g after point e, clause 1 of the above article as follows: "Vietnamese Culture Day: 1 day (November 24th of the solar calendar)".
The draft also states that every year, based on actual conditions, the Prime Minister decides the specific regulated holiday. The Minister of Home Affairs shall notify the specific holiday and Tet holidays decided by the Prime Minister before December 31 of the immediately preceding year.

Decomposed body found at Ba Ria General Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City
On June 10, Tam Long Ward Police coordinated with functional units to verify and clarify the case of discovering a decomposing male body at Ba Ria General Hospital (Tam Long ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Previously, during the working process, medical staff discovered a foul odor on the 4th floor of the hospital, so they organized a search, and unexpectedly discovered a decomposed male body in the balcony area of the cafeteria that had been closed for a long time, quickly reporting to hospital leaders and functional agencies.
After conducting verification, functional agencies determined that the victim was N.V.H (14 years old, residing in Long Hai commune) who had been missing for many days.
