On the afternoon of June 12, a heavy rain lasting more than 2 hours in Bao Lam 1 commune (Lam Dong) caused a section of Provincial Road 725 through the Tan Rai Alumin Plant area to be deeply flooded from 0.7 to nearly 1m.

According to records, floodwaters stretched hundreds of meters, turning the road into a "river", making it impossible for vehicles to pass through this area. Traffic on the route was locally blocked for many hours.
Many drivers tried to drive their cars through the deep flooded section but stalled in the middle of the road.
Rapidly rising water also creates large waves overflowing into people's houses along both sides of the road, affecting people's lives.

Immediately after the flood occurred, local authorities mobilized police, militia and related units to the scene to ensure traffic safety.

By 4:30 PM on the same day, the rain began to stop but the road was still deeply flooded, and vehicles such as cars, small trucks, and motorbikes could not yet pass through.

Functional forces organize traffic diversion and guidance for people and vehicles to travel along people's roads to avoid prolonged congestion and limit the risk of incidents.

Currently, local authorities are continuing to monitor the weather situation, and at the same time warn people to limit traffic through deeply flooded areas to ensure safety.
