On November 29, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Tran Duc Chung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Lung Cu Commune said that frost appeared in the early morning due to low temperatures. "The temperature this morning was around 2 degrees Celsius, ice appeared on the hillside, the grass met for a while and then melted quickly. The price increase did not have much impact. The locality has previously issued documents directing villages and hamlets to strengthen prevention of this cold spell," Mr. Chung added.

Not only in Lung Cu, in communes in the UNESCO Global Geopark Area of Dong Van Stone Plateau such as Sa Phin and Son Vi, frost also appeared. The temperature in the early morning ranges from -1 to 3 degrees Celsius.

Walking street in Can Tho revives, officially operating from the evening of November 29

After many times of organization but not achieving the desired results, Ninh Kieu walking street will officially resume operations on the evening of November 29, bringing an airy, friendly space, serving people and tourists and creating a tourist highlight for Can Tho city.

The City People's Committee has approved the proposal of the Ninh Kieu Ward People's Committee, allocating more than 1 billion VND from the budget to maintain the operation of the street.

Mr. Nguyen Anh Hoai - Vice Chairman of Ninh Kieu Ward People's Committee said that the reorganization of the walking street aims to create a safe, airy and unique night cultural space, contributing to improving the spiritual life of the people. At the same time, the walking street will increase tourism attraction, extend the length of stay of tourists and boost the night-time economy.
