Groundbreaking ceremony for Gia Bay bridge worth more than 600 billion VND in Thai Nguyen
On the morning of February 3rd, Thai Nguyen organized the groundbreaking ceremony of the Gia Bay Bridge new construction project - a key traffic project, serving disaster prevention and control and urban development.

The project belongs to group B, level I traffic with a total investment of more than 617 billion VND, expected to be completed by the end of 2026. The new bridge is built to replace the current old bridge, cable-stayed design, more than 180m long, 23.5m wide, synchronously invested in the bridgehead road system.

At an apricot blossom garden in Thu Duc ward (Ho Chi Minh City), dozens of students and local workers are busy picking apricot leaves, preparing for the flower season to bloom right for the Lunar New Year.
Mr. Mai Huu Duc (owner of Tu Hong apricot blossom garden, Ho Chi Minh City) said that this year the garden has about 800 pots of apricot blossoms that need to be peeled in a short time. To keep up with the schedule, right from the beginning of December, he proactively contacted to find seasonal workers, in which the student force accounts for a large number.

Fishing boat sinks at La Gi Port, 15 crew members escape in time
On the morning of February 3, Mr. Huynh Thanh Quoc Viet - Chairman of Phuoc Hoi Ward People's Committee (Lam Dong province) confirmed that at La Gi Port, another fishing boat sinking occurred while en route to sea.
Fishing vessel numbered BTh 96383TS, capacity 200Cv, with 15 divers on board.

The fishing boat is owned and captained by Mr. T.T (born 1972, residing in Tien Thanh ward). The boat departed at 5:20 am on the same day at La Gi Port. About 25 minutes later, as soon as it reached the port gate, the fishing boat was sunk by big waves.
Faced with the dangerous situation, all 15 crew members promptly jumped off the ship. Thanks to the support of vehicles operating near the area, the crew members were quickly rescued and brought ashore safely.
