The event is a special milestone towards the 50th anniversary of tradition (1976 - 2026) and the 30th anniversary of the name Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dr. Le Truong Son - Rector of the school emphasized that, with its position as a key law training institution, the award aims for a prestigious national scale in the field of training, research and law-making, instead of just stopping at an internal award.

The implementation roadmap includes 3 steps: Receiving online nominations (from March 9 to March 20); Appraisal and selection (from March 21 to March 25) by the leading expert council. The award ceremony is expected to take place on March 30, 2026.
