On March 4, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation organized a ceremony to celebrate the 116th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 – March 8, 2026), commemorate the Hai Ba Trung Uprising, celebrate International Day of Happiness March 20 and respond to Ao Dai Week 2026.
At the program, a large number of female union members reviewed the tradition of International Women's Day March 8, sharing beautiful moments in ao dai - a symbol of the gentle, brave and modern beauty of Vietnamese women.
Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation presented flowers and gifts to congratulate female officials, employees, and laborers. According to Mr. Phan Thanh Liem, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation, the whole province currently manages more than 91,800 union members, of which female union members account for nearly 50%.
In recent years, trade union levels have always focused on caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of female workers; participating in building and implementing policies related to female workers, the national target program on gender equality and gender-based violence prevention and control, and the program for the advancement of women.

Activities to care for the lives of female union members continue to be concerned. Many grassroots trade unions coordinate with the government to open kindergartens for workers' children, supporting childcare costs for female workers with children under 24 months old.
The emulation movement "Good at state affairs, good at housework" associated with "Women actively study, creatively work, build happy families" attracts a large number of female union members to participate; every year, over 88% of female union members achieve the title "Good at state affairs, good at housework".
In the period 2023 - 2025, trade union levels have deployed and coordinated inspection and supervision of 389 cases on the implementation of regimes and policies for female workers, contributing to protecting the rights of female union members.
Implementing the 2026 work program, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation guides levels to organize propaganda and commemorative activities to arouse pride, spread tradition and good qualities of Vietnamese women.
In which, launching Ao Dai Week from March 2nd to March 7th, encouraging female union members and workers to wear ao dai on working days in accordance with professional conditions and characteristics and ensuring labor safety.
In addition, trade unions at all levels coordinate to organize seminars, cultural exchanges, and contests, contributing to enhancing the position of Vietnamese women in many fields.
