In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating International Women's Day on March 8 and responding to "Ao Dai Week 2025", disabled women in Can Tho City brought an emotional and proud image. Overcoming difficulties, they brilliantly wear traditional ao dai, honoring Vietnamese beauty and affirming extraordinary determination.

The Association of People with Disabilities in Can Tho City has organized many meaningful activities, with the highlight being Ao Dai photos, spreading joy and confidence to female members. Flat-fitting ao dai not only honors traditional beauty but is also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping them love life more and be proud of themselves.
Ms. Do Thi Ngoc - a member of the Association of People with Disabilities in Can Tho City - emotionally shared: "This is the first time I have worn a flowing ao dai, the pride of Vietnamese women on the occasion of March 8. I am very happy and proud to wear traditional national costumes with my sisters.

Many other women in the association also expressed their emotions, confusion and shyness. However, everyone felt extremely happy and excited when wearing the ao dai.
Looking at the confident women in Ao Dai, Mr. Duy Khoi (Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City) tearfully said: "The images of graceful disabled women in Ao Dai are proof of the immortal beauty of Vietnamese women, regardless of the circumstances".
To bring joy to these special women, previously, the Women's Union of the Foreign Security Department (Can Tho City Police) launched a campaign for all officers and members to donate Ao Dai to give to the City's Association of People with Disabilities. This is a meaningful gift, showing the concern and sharing of the community.

Ms. Huynh Ngoc Hong Nhung - President of the Association of People with Disabilities in Can Tho City - said that seeing the desire of women to wear Ao Dai, the Association connected and was presented with 74 sets of Ao Dai by the Women's Union of the Foreign Security Department. Many women feel very happy and joyful when they first see themselves in the gentle ao dai, the pride of Vietnamese women.
Ao Dai Week is an occasion for women to add charm and beauty in traditional ao dai. This is a very meaningful activity to honor the traditional value of Ao Dai in social life, promote national cultural values, thereby arousing pride, creating a widespread influence in the community about the history and value of Vietnamese Ao Dai.
