The locality supports funding for nurturing and caring for 126 people, including 121 representatives of households directly nurturing and caring for severely disabled people and 5 people who adopt and care for children under 16 years old who do not have a source of nurturing.
The social pension subjects are 575 people, including 512 elderly people aged 75 and over who do not receive pensions or monthly social insurance allowances and 63 elderly people aged 70 to under 75 years old from poor and near-poor households who do not receive pensions or monthly social insurance allowances.
According to the report, the payment of social allowances was implemented with scientific archives. Non-cash payments have been made.
Regarding children's work, the Commune People's Committee has issued many decisions and plans related to children's protection and implemented the "Month of Action for Children" in 2026.
At the time of the survey, the commune had 4,723 children under 16 years old, accounting for 22.85% of the population. Among them, there were 1,281 children under 6 years old and 83 children in special circumstances, including 5 orphans of both parents and 78 disabled children.
Currently, the commune has 6/8 schools meeting national standards, reaching a rate of 75%. However, from 2025 to 2026, there are 15 children dropping out of school.
Through inspection, the inspection team recorded that the locality has not issued a plan to prevent and combat prostitution in 2025 and 2026; has not issued a plan to support victims of trafficking to return; has not issued operating regulations of Inter-sectoral Inspection Team 178 on prostitution prevention and control.
In addition, the locality has not reviewed and statistically analyzed conditional service business establishments that are easily exploited for prostitution activities according to business types; has not allocated funds for prostitution prevention and control and support for victims of trafficking.
The inspection team requested the People's Committee of Muong Bi commune to continue updating social protection data and children's data on the software system before June 30, 2026; fulfill the responsibility of ensuring the right to birth registration and access to health care services for children.
Deploying non-cash payments in allowance payments (note that by June 30, 2026, 70% of social protection beneficiaries will be paid through accounts) according to Official Dispatch No. 11318 of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee.
