After two working days, the 1st Pho Hien Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030, was a great success, opening a new development stage with a long-term vision and specific targets.
The Congress identified the ward's core development viewpoint in this term as ensuring a strategic vision, sustainable and comprehensive development; inheriting historical and cultural values, while innovating development thinking, flexibly adapting to new context.
Along with that is strengthening integration, expanding regional linkages and development space; overcoming barriers, creating unity in the organization of the apparatus; creatively applying major policies and orientations of the Central Government and Hung Yen province.
On that basis, the general goal set by the Congress is to develop Hien Street into a model green, smart, modern and unique urban area with a widespread influence in the central area of Hung Yen province by 2030.
This is not only a spatial development orientation but also a political commitment of the entire Party Committee and people of the ward to realize the aspiration to build a livable, sustainable and rich city with cultural identity.
The Congress agreed on a number of outstanding indicators of clear quantity to concretize the development vision. In particular, the average economic growth rate in the period of 2025-2030 will reach 13%/year; GRDP per capita will reach 210 million VND/year; create 7,500 new jobs; there will be no more poor households.
The ward also strives to achieve 100% of the population having access to clean water and waste collection; 99% of people participating in health insurance; the sex ratio at birth is maintained reasonably. Regarding political organization, the Congress set a target of 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations completing their tasks well, of which 20% completed their tasks excellently; the rate of Party organizations completing tasks well reached 80%, Party members completing tasks well reached over 90%.
The specific goals and targets show the strong determination of the Pho Hien Ward Party Committee in promoting the role of the province's administrative - economic - cultural - service center in the two-level local government model. This is also an affirmation of a new stage of development, where Hanoi not only preserves the glorious past but also proactively leads the future - with scientific, comprehensive and solid steps.
