To celebrate Vietnam Disability Day (April 18, 1998 - April 18, 2026), on the morning of April 17, leaders of Trung Tam ward (Lao Cai province) organized a delegation to visit, encourage and give gifts to disabled people in difficult circumstances in the area.

The working delegation was headed by Mr. Chu Quoc Hoang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee - along with representatives of the Fatherland Front Committee and the Ward Culture and Social Affairs Department.
At the destinations, the delegation directly visited the families of Ms. Dinh Thi Dem (Cang Na residential group) and Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh (residential group 5).
Here, ward leaders cordially inquired about their health and daily life, and shared the difficulties that families are facing.
Sincere words of encouragement and timely care have added motivation for families to confidently overcome circumstances.
Each household was given a gift worth 500,000 VND, including cash and essential necessities. Although the material value is not large, it shows the practical concern of local authorities for vulnerable people in society.

Visiting and giving gifts on this occasion not only contributes to caring for the lives of people with disabilities but also spreads the spirit of mutual affection and community responsibility.
Thereby, affirming the concern of the Party Committee and government of Trung Tam ward in ensuring social security, not leaving anyone behind.
This is also an opportunity to raise social awareness about the rights and roles of people with disabilities, creating conditions for them to integrate, rise up in life, and make positive contributions to the community.
